All envision Morocco as an extremely hot (it is Africa! Sure it\u2019s hot!). Yes, but not too much trust. In winter (December to March) it is cold, specially at night and in the medinas (they are constructed so as to not allow the sun to pass too much, then they are pretty cool). Morocco has several climates:<\/p>

\u2013 On the coast (north-west) the climate is moderate and subtropical, with cool winds from the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. In winter (December to March) the north is rainy and humid.<\/p>

\u2013 In the inner the temperatures are more extreme: the winters are very cold (in the Atlas, the central mountain range, the temperature reaching freezing and no snow) and summers are very hot (above 38 \u00b0 C).So if we ask what is the best time to go, we would say that in late winter and spring (late January to early May), when it is no longer so cold and yet not so hot. In general yes, all cities have cibers and some tourist restaurants and hostels have wi-fi. What plug used? In Morocco, the \u201cEuropean\u201d plug is used. Do not worry too much, as you can buy an adapter there in any market and very cheap.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

One of the most surprising things is the Moroccan \u201cmultilingualism\u201d. They speak many languages very well: officers are Moroccan Arabic (also known as Dariya), Tamazight (Berber language) and French.<\/p>

In the north, it is also common to speak Castilian (since they were Spanish colony) and in the center and south is more common to speak French or English, so with these languages will do well. It never hurts to learn words in the local language such as \u201cshoukran\u201d (thanks) or \u201csalaam alaikum\u201d (traditional greeting).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The currency used in Morocco is the Dirham. It\u2019s recommended to change in the country of destination, so they do not charge commissions in many places and change is more favorable. I did most of my trips Morocco alone. The most important and first I want to clarify to all those women who like to travel alone is that Morocco is a safe country, where there is no problem when traveling alone. That is, it is completely reliable to travel alone by Morocco.<\/p>

Ramadan is the month of fasting for Muslims and is one of the highlights of the year for them, and ending with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Fasting is done every day for a month, since the sun rises until it sets, and during that time Muslims can not eat, drink or smoke.<\/p>

You can travel like any other time, but keep in mind that many restaurants will be closed at noon and that everything can run at a slower pace.<\/p>

Fasting is not obligatory for those who are not Muslims, but respect is advisable not to eat or drink in public places in full view of those who are fasting. Please note that during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr almost everything closes for a week and Moroccans are mobilized en masse from one part of the country to the other to see their families.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
